I am sharing my experience with Instant Funding because I believe my payout was rejected based on a rule that was not clearly explained to me beforehand.
I traded the account for approximately four months and followed my trading strategy and risk-management rules throughout this period. I made approximately $520 in profit, and based on the 80% payout split, I requested a payout of approximately $412.
On 23 September, my payout was rejected. The reason given was “one-sided betting.”
This was very confusing to me because I had previously contacted Instant Funding's support team specifically to ask about this rule and whether my trading style could cause any problems with a future payout.
I clearly explained to their support team that I am a short-biased trader. My strategy primarily involves taking short trades, and I generally do not take long/buy trades.
At that time, the support team told me that there should be no problem with my trading style. They also provided an example of what they considered “one-sided betting.” Their explanation referred to repeatedly taking positions in the same direction, particularly multiple entries at different levels, without proper risk management or a professional trading system.
I relied on that information when continuing to trade the account.
However, after approximately four months of trading, my payout was rejected on the basis of one-sided betting.
My trading activity
I have the complete trading history and can provide the dates of my trades.
My trades were not frequent or random multiple entries throughout the day. In fact, I generally took only around three trades per month, with trades often separated by 10, 20 or more days.
This is why I find the “one-sided betting” explanation difficult to understand.
I did not continuously enter multiple positions throughout the day or repeatedly add to a position at different levels. My trades were taken on different dates according to my trading strategy.
What concerns me most
The biggest issue for me is that I specifically asked the support team about this before continuing.
If my trading style was considered unacceptable under their payout rules, I believe I should have been clearly informed before I spent money on the account and invested approximately four months of trading time into it.
Instead, I was given an explanation by support that led me to believe my trading approach was acceptable.
After the payout was rejected, I was given a new account, but I am now unsure whether I should trade that account at all because I do not know whether the same interpretation of “one-sided betting” could be used to reject another future payout.

I have screenshots of my conversations with the Instant Funding support team, including:
- My explanation of my trading strategy.
- My questions regarding “one-sided betting.”
- The explanation/example provided by their support team.
- My trading history showing the dates of my trades.
- The payout rejection.
- The new account that was provided afterward.
I followed the information I received from their support team, traded for approximately four months, generated around $520 in profit, and then had my approximately $412 payout request rejected.
I would appreciate a transparent explanation of why my specific trading history was classified as one-sided betting, especially considering the prior communication I had with their support team.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Instant Funding.
It took me nearly two months of trading to reach the payout stage. I traded the account gradually, met the payout requirements, and eventually requested a payout of $1,335.92.
This is also not my first payout-related issue. My previous payout was delayed, and after spending almost two months reaching the payout level again, this payout was rejected and my account was cancelled because of an alleged risk-rule violation.
I understand their risk rules and I am not disputing their right to enforce them. What I am disputing is the calculation and execution surrounding the alleged breach.
For the XRPUSD.x position:
Entry: 1.40103
Stop Loss: 1.36664
Volume: 0.50
Platform-displayed SL risk: approximately $86.58 / 0.74%
This was deliberately below the 1% threshold.
However, their breach-detection information appears to show a probable loss of approximately $1,719.50 for this position. I have screenshots showing the position, stop loss and displayed risk, so I have asked them to explain how a position displaying approximately $86.58 of SL risk resulted in this calculation.
There was also a BTCUSD.x position where my stop loss was 79,491.65, while the recorded closing execution was approximately 79,414.44, resulting in a $103 loss.
Importantly, this occurred over the Sunday/weekend trading period. I was not aware of any major scheduled economic event at the time that would explain such an execution difference. I understand that cryptocurrency markets can still experience volatility and reduced liquidity on weekends, but slippage and execution are not something a trader can precisely control after placing a predefined stop loss.
That is exactly why I believe these trades deserve a proper manual investigation rather than simply treating the final executed loss as evidence that I intentionally risked more than the permitted amount.
After nearly two months of work, my $1,335.92 payout was rejected and the account was cancelled.
This is especially disappointing because I had already experienced a payout delay previously. After finally reaching another payout, I am now facing an account cancellation over a risk calculation that, based on the evidence available to me, I believe requires further explanation.
I have contacted Instant Funding and requested a proper manual review. I am not asking them to ignore their rules. I am asking them to examine the actual SL I placed, the risk displayed when the trade was opened, the execution/slippage, and the apparent discrepancy in their breach-detection calculation.
I have screenshots and trading records supporting the figures above.
I will update this review if Instant Funding investigates the case fairly, provides a clear technical explanation, reinstates the account, or honours the payout.
For other traders, I strongly recommend keeping screenshots of your entry price, stop loss, displayed monetary risk, execution price and account history, particularly before requesting a payout.

They are total scammers; they’ve invented so many rules that it’s impossible not to make a human error—don’t have anything to do with them. Scammers!!!! You aren't allowed to trade during news events; if you have a losing position open, you’re forced to close it and take the loss instead of letting your stop-loss (SL) handle it. I’m talking about GBP news here—even though I trade gold—but this company is absolute crap!! -5 stars for this shit

They are scammers. I tried to buy my first account using a code they sent me 2 days ago on Discord. After I joined the community, I tried to use it, but it didn't work. After put that on his Discord, they banned me from his Discord! I have screenshots, etc about that! It's too bad I can't attach them. Because they also deleted the messages I sent on Discord.
