I want to share another recent experience with Earn2Trade.
2 days ago, I purchased a new 25K evaluation account, which has a $550 daily loss limit. To manage my risk carefully, I set my own maximum loss limit at $500 on my trading platform to stay safely within the rules.
However, due to slippage and market execution, my position was closed at approximately -$580, which caused the account to be breached in a single trade. This happened even though I had already set a stricter risk limit specifically to avoid breaking the rules.
I understand that their system calculates losses in real-time including slippage, but this situation shows how traders can still fail the evaluation despite taking precautions.
What I found particularly disappointing is that, unlike many other prop firms, reaching the daily loss limit on this platform immediately fails the entire evaluation, rather than simply stopping trading for the rest of the day.
After this happened, I contacted support and asked—for the first time ever—if they could offer a reset or any goodwill gesture. I also mentioned that I have been trading with them since 2022 and regularly purchase evaluations.
Unfortunately, my request was denied, even though this was not a case of reckless risk-taking, but rather a result of slippage beyond my control.
This experience has been very disappointing, especially as a long-time customer. I expected more flexibility or at least a one-time consideration in such a situation.
As a result, I’ve decided to move to other prop firms that offer rules and protections more aligned with real trading conditions and that show more appreciation for loyal customers.
