1. Information We Collect

• Personal data: Not collected.
• Accounts, identifiers, browsing history: Not collected.
• Financial or trading data: Not collected.
• Diagnostics/crash logs: Not collected by the extension.

2. Local Processing & Storage

The extension uses the browser’s storage to keep a lightweight, local cache of offer results and UI preferences. The cache typically expires in about 10 minutes for freshness and performance. This local data remains on your device and is not sent to our servers.

3. Network Requests

The extension makes read-only requests to https://api.propfirmdiscount.com to fetch current deals and notices. All requests are sent over HTTPS. We do not attach personal identifiers to these requests.

4. How Permissions Are Used

• activeTab – used only when you click to open a full deal page in a new tab.
• storage – stores a short-lived local cache and UI preferences.
• Host permissions (api.propfirmdiscount.com) – restricts network calls to our API only.
• Content scripts – add a small on-page bubble on supported sites so you can see deals in context.

5. Sharing and Selling of Data

We do not sell data. We do not share personal information with third parties.

6. Security

Network traffic to our API uses HTTPS. The extension’s local cache does not include personal identifiers.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We do not store personal data on our servers. Local cache on your device is short-lived and can be cleared anytime by removing the extension or clearing extension/site data in your browser.

8. Children’s Privacy

The extension is for a general audience and not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective date above. Continued use of the extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
