Regarding the trailing drawdown on your $200,000 1-Step challenge account: the Maximum Trailing Drawdown rule is clearly outlined in our terms and applies to all traders equally. As your equity grew from $194,000 to $215,000, the trailing drawdown limit moved upward accordingly — this is the intended mechanics of the trailing drawdown, which follows your high-water mark at all times. When your equity subsequently dropped, it fell below the updated trailing limit, resulting in a legitimate breach of the maximum drawdown rule.
To be clear: this was not a system error or technical malfunction. The trailing drawdown functioned exactly as designed and as communicated to all traders before they begin their challenge. The fact that you were profitable on the final day does not override the breach, as the trailing limit is calculated on your highest equity reached, not on daily profit or loss.
As for communication: our CEO personally reached out to you to discuss the situation, and we made efforts to find a resolution, including resetting your challenge account. Unfortunately, the reset account was also breached.
