Direct Funded Trader Reduces Evaluation Prices by 50% Across 15K to 200K Accounts

Direct Funded Trader is offering a 50% price reduction on new evaluation accounts ranging from $15,000 to $200,000. This promotion affects the initial entry cost only and does not change any trading rules, evaluation criteria, or drawdown parameters.

Where the Savings Apply

The active discount cuts the upfront fee by half for five specific account sizes. Traders can purchase the 15K account for $50 (down from $100), the 25K account for $99, the 50K for $149, the 100K for $239.50 and the 200K account for $489.50.

Who Might Find This Relevant

This pricing structure is suitable for traders seeking a lower initial purchase cost on mid-to-large evaluation accounts. Buyers should be cautious if they are not ready to strictly follow standard risk parameters, as trading rules remain fully intact. As an added tip, traders can always check out the PFD discount when purchasing an account at Direct Funded Trader, because it remains constantly active for checkout savings and is occasionally applied at the highest available rate.

I ran several simulations with this…

I ran several simulations with this company and passed both phases. However, when they gave me a live account, I was blocked during my very first tradeβ€”before I even had time to set a stop-loss. Although I ended up with a positive balance, the trade was rejected, and I was told I had to start a new phase. To me, this company is only interested in profiting from the simulation phases that traders go through. I will not trade with this company again; I consider it deceptive.

⭐ 1/5

⭐ 1/5 β€” A deeply disappointing experience with a company I had previously trusted
I am an experienced customer in the trading industry, and I was not a first-time customer of Direct Funded Trader. I had previously used the company and successfully received a payout. That previous experience is precisely why my recent experience has been so disappointing.
In my experience, the company’s approach to payouts and customer communication has changed significantly compared with last year. What I previously considered relatively clear and customer-focused became a very different experience when I questioned a payout decision.
My payout was rejected and funds remained withheld from my account. I repeatedly asked for a clear explanation of the specific rule I had allegedly violated, how my trading activity constituted a breach, and what evidence or calculation supported the decision. I did not receive the level of specific explanation I reasonably expected.
What concerned me even more was the way the communication developed afterwards. In my experience, the communication became disrespectful and intimidating rather than professional. My account was subsequently closed, funds remained withheld, and I was also blocked from communicating through Discord.
I am not asking a company to approve a payout simply because I disagree with a decision. If I genuinely breached a clearly stated rule, I am prepared to accept the consequences. What I expect, however, is transparency: identify the exact rule, explain precisely how it was breached, and provide the relevant evidence supporting the decision.
The fact that I had previously received a payout from the same company makes the situation particularly difficult to understand from my perspective. My trading approach and my previous relationship with the company made the sudden change in how my case was handled especially disappointing.
I have retained records of my experience, including account information, payout-related communications, trading records, and correspondence with support. Therefore, this review is based on my actual experience as a customer, not speculation or information obtained from third parties.
I am not claiming that every customer will experience the same treatment. I am describing what happened in my own case and why I believe the handling of my payout and subsequent communication fell far below the standard I expected from a company I had previously trusted.
My advice to potential customers is simple: read the rules carefully, keep screenshots of the rules applicable to your account, and preserve records of your trades, payouts, and all communication with support.
Last year, my impression of this company was considerably more positive. Unfortunately, based on my recent experience, I can no longer recommend it.
I hope the company improves its transparency, payout explanations, and customer support so that other customers do not experience the same situation.

What a scam of a prop firm; I tried my best to contact the DFT team to request my payout, but instead, I got blocked on Telegram and Discord, and I can't even use the live chat on the website.
