Hello everyone,
I purchased a $100K account from BrightFunded and successfully passed both challenge phases. After my account went under review, I waited approximately one week before receiving an email informing me that my risk limit had been reduced to just 1%.
When I contacted customer support, I was told that this was their policy. I explained that if a $100K account is restricted to 1% risk, the risk allowance may be comparable to that of a much smaller account, such as a $25K account. I questioned why I should purchase a larger account under these circumstances. Their response was essentially that these were their rules, and if I did not like them, I should not buy an account or continue trading.
I had already invested a great deal of time and effort into passing the challenges, so I reluctantly accepted the 1% risk limit and continued trading.
Unfortunately, my account balance later dropped to approximately $96,500. On Thursday morning, I had three open trades with stop-losses set to limit their losses to $500, $250, and $100 respectively. When my remaining account balance reached around $30, my account was breached.
When I asked BrightFunded why my account had been breached, I was told that I had been charged $270 in swap fees on Thursday. I questioned this charge because, according to the swap schedule I had reviewed, the relevant triple swap was supposed to apply on Wednesday. Support explained that because the charge was applied early Thursday morning, it was attributed to Wednesday.
I pointed out that if my trades had remained open from Wednesday, the swap should have been accounted for according to the applicable schedule. However, my objection was not accepted, and my account remained breached.
My main concern is the lack of clarity and consistency in how these rules are applied. I believe traders deserve transparent rules, accurate swap calculations, and clear explanations before their accounts are restricted or breached. After successfully completing both challenge phases, it is extremely frustrating to have my account restricted and subsequently breached over rules and charges that I believe were not handled fairly.
I have evidence supporting my experience, although unfortunately, I cannot attach all of it here.
I am sharing this review to help other traders make an informed decision. Before purchasing an account, carefully review the firm’s risk policies, swap schedules, and account breach conditions, and make sure you fully understand how they are applied in practice.
In my experience, BrightFunded has seriously damaged my trust. I hope the company will provide a clear explanation rather than simply placing all the blame on the customer.
I regret the time, effort, and money I invested in this experience, and I would advise other traders to do their own research and carefully consider these issues before purchasing an account.

Purchased account. Cant even login to dasdhboard. Their login page has conked out lol. Sent email over 24 hours ago, no response yet.

No response from them as yet. Still cant login to dashboard. Onbly way to contact them is via email. Joke company.

Even if you get through the challenge the soon as the can eliminate your account they will.
I had a open trade on their 1k challenge.
Max daily loss was $30,-
The trade was up $8,40 overnight.
The next day it hit my SL of -$14
So they added the $8,40 unrealized profit with the $14 dollar SL.
Then accounted the commision and swap cost so they said the total loss of the position was $31,10.
Adding up swap, commision and unrealized profit on the result of the trade so you can kick people out of their account.
So if your position is up at midnight when your asleep you can get breached out of your account.
If you reach out to helpdesk you only get an AI bot posting the same FAQ question page without giving a normal answer.
Never coming back here again.

Account #335625594 suffered a breach because the stop-loss failed to close the position.And for the past few weeks, the browser-based MT5 has frequently been malfunctioning; stop-loss orders often disappear on their own—something that didn't happen before.

Maybe this time my review will stay up? So far my positive reviews for BrightFunded have been flagged, and I have no idea why. This is my third attempt to say what a wonderful company BrightFunded is, to thank Jude, my favorite chat representative who never disappoints and always provides excellent customer service, and to thank BrightFunded for this opportunity that I otherwise wouldn't have due to lack of capital. I'm happy to say that I passed a $25,000 Challenge today and I'm in Phase 2 of another one. Nothing about any of what I just said is fake. Thank you, BrightFunded!
